 |  | Music Director Franz Welser-Möst committed to Cleveland to 2018
It has been announced that Franz Welser-Möst’s contract as Music Director of The Cleveland Orchestra will extend to 2018, the 100th season of The Cleveland Orchestra. Mr. Welser-Möst spoke about his long-term plans including Centennial Commissions, fully-staged opera at Severance Hall, collaboration with Miami City Ballet, and bringing the Orchestra to public schools.
