 | | Music Director Franz Welser-Möst committed to Cleveland to 2018
It has been announced that Franz Welser-Möst’s contract as Music Director of The Cleveland Orchestra will extend to 2018, the 100th season of The Cleveland Orchestra. Mr. Welser-Möst spoke about his long-term plans including Centennial Commissions, fully-staged opera at Severance Hall, collaboration with Miami City Ballet, and bringing the Orchestra to public schools. Warm summer nights will be here before we know it! Tickets for this summer's Blossom Festival season are now on sale. Four-concert subscriptions are also available. Phone and in-person sales of single tickets at the Severance Hall Ticket Office, telephone (216) 231-1111 or 800-686-1141, are now available. The Blossom Box Office is open for ticket sales on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, 1 p.m to 5 p.m., and through intermission on concert nights.
